Art exhibits have always been my thing, and I really do get out of my way just to see one - no matter how far the gallery is, I think it’s worth it! I love how my block mates are starting to like going to art events, and this exhibit right here is one of the most memorable because we went like treasure hunting just to find this art gallery. I think we spent about five hundred for a cab fare. Didn’t know it was that far! Well, anything for art. Chos!

Anyway, I got aware of this exhibit because of my UPCFA friends. They all came from UP College of Fine Arts and yes I am definitely proud because I loved the exhibit! Check out The College Guys at 371 Art Space with works of Francis Commeyne, Francis Bejar, Chalk Zaldivar, and Geronimo Cristobal.

Above: Sabi ni Mommy Series: Berto Linisin mo Kuwarto mo by Francis Bejar. My second favorite!

Above: Masked Communication by Chalk Zaldivar. This was the biggest painting around and also my personal favorite. I’m too amused with the stylized drawing and her facial expression. Haha!

Yeah, I forgot to mention. I was with these two blondes in the exhibit! Thank you Jan and Hanako! The ride going to the exhibit has been a bumpy one but it was a lot of fun with you two. ☺ I should go blond soon. Haha kidding! By the way so you wouldn’t get lost, the 371 Art Space is located near Greenhills, San Juan. Go visit! ☺
