31st March 12
I first heard of the event from my friend, Christine. As much as I would like to keep my cool and excitement, I couldn’t. Haha! David’s one of the reasons why I started blogging. I really got inspired by him - that’s why I’m here, blogging right now haha! I also wanted to meet them in person (I mean, who wouldn’t!) I actually wanted to learn about them and how they started off. ☺ I went with Christine and Jihan! I wouldn’t be there without them haha!
It’s Lissa and David! There were a lot of people who attended. I find it cute that most of the guys who came dress like David. Haha! And can I just say - Lissa’s very pretty! I’m stunned haha! ☺
Lissa talked about the styling, shopping, and power dressing part. I actually learned a lot from her style advices. Given that it’s their first time to do the workshop, they’re actually pretty good! I love how they inject their sense of humor while educating us. Hahaha! Ang cute ng style evolution nila from 2010 - 2012!
David talked about the Photography part! I’m a big fan of his photography most especially the color in his photos. I was happy that he talked about how he edits his photos and how he takes away the green color to make his photos look like it was shot abroad. Oh and I love how he only started with a Nokia phone! Haha pretty cool!
After the discussion, we we’re divided into groups and had an activity. I know nothing about styling women so I just volunteered to take the photos. Haha! We were assigned for the brand Cole Vintage!
Those are my groupmates right there! Lol
While my group were doing their thing, I took a photo of the two adorable speakers! Anyone else notice they’d make a great couple? Nyaha!
Here’s ours! We were left with the rest of the clothes because the other groups checked out the items earlier. We named the look “Gold Au Courant” because there’s a lot of gold and yellow tints and the look is elegant but modern and up to date. (This statement is according to my groupmates hahaha!)
We presented our models to the speakers! Meanwhile, I won a GC from Hang Ten being the most active member of the group! I don’t know if active as in involved or active as in hyper, but whatever haha thanks for these! ☺
One thing I loved about the workshop is meeting new people! Too bad the group’s not complete! But hey it was nice meeting you guys! ☺
I came with these two! Love you both! ☺ I really had fun. It was one of the nicest workshops I’ve ever been to. No dull moments! Kudos to David, Lissa, and most especially to The List Group! ☺ You guys did a great job! We’re looking forward to the next one! ☺
